Darcy started working radio in 1987 after the city morgue was converted into a radio station in San Angelo, TX. Working her way across Texas at stations in Lubbock, Amarillo and Corpus Christi; in 1994 she saved up some money, packed a truck and drove it to Dallas to try the "big show". A few months later she got the coveted overnight weekend slot at ABC Radio Networks and wouldn't stop until she became a Radio Disney producer, then a Today's Best Country sidekick for the morning show and after all that hard work (and proof that she's a sucker for punishment) a show of her own. Each weekday she gets people to stop what they're doing and pick up a phone to give advice, get the latest movie scoop, help kids solve homework problems, get goofy for prizes and have Happy Fun Party Time. On the side, Darcy looks to mud up her Jeep, find a trail to run, a road to cycle and spoil her two mutts, Moose and Einstein.
